our History

Although we are a relatively new club, our roots in London Fields go back a few years to when a group of parents decided to get together every Saturday morning and have some fun playing football with their kids. From that modest beginning a community quickly grew. As the kids have grown they wanted something more than a kick-about with the old men so it was decided to form Los Campos F.C. to cater for them and any other children who wanted to enjoy playing the game.

Los Campos F.C. Ethos & Vision

Our aim at Los Campos F.C. is to provide a safe and fun learning experience for kids to enjoy playing football, from the technical and physical to the psychological and social aspects of playing the game and being part of a team. We aim to make the club friendly and inclusive and want to enable young players to realise their potential. We will actively encouarge fair play, mutual respect and enjoyment of the game.

What we want to achieve

We are aiming to establish a sustainable and valued local community club that not only offers younger children the chance to enjoy learning and playing football but also offers those with potential to develop and play at higher levels of the game. Our qualified coaches will provide for the particular needs of each age group and will themselves be encouraged to develop their own coaching skills and qualifications. We want enjoyment and learning to be at the core of what we do and we want our young players to be the best they can be.

Respect

We are wholeheartedly behind the The F.A. Respect programme which aims to improve behaviour both on the pitch and on the sidelines at all levels of the game. It is vital that we as parents, coaches or just spectators set a positive example for our young players. It is important that we do not shout instruction or criticism at them from the sidelines but instead only applaud effort and encourage in order to allow them to express themselves freely on the pitch and without fear of making mistakes.
